History

Proper Canna Naturals started with dedication and a dream of helping others. The products that we have developed are those that we utilize ourselves and want to provide to our friends and families. Inspired by the medical miracles seen in the early days of CBD trials, our founders were awed by what this amazing plant could offer, and decided to make hemp their life’s purpose. Today, Proper Canna Naturals is one of Colorado’s leading USDA certified organic CBD product producers, and we are proud to serve customers across Colorado and the greater United States.

More than a decade ago, our founders, Dan Arensmeier and Justin Brothers, saw the potential of the cannabis plant and how it was being utilized to benefit their families, friends and overall community. They began their research in the mid-2000’s, when the state of Colorado legalized the use of medical marijuana, which led them to take a greater interest in industrial hemp and the many benefits it has to offer. The 2014 Farm Bill Act, which was the initial pilot program for hemp research, allowed Colorado to become one of the first states to grow and study the hemp plant. This groundbreaking change in policy allowed them to begin their extensive work on the plant to unlock the many benefits it has to offer. Since 2014, our founders have started multiple industrial hemp platforms from biological R&D, to product manufacturing and end consumer retail product marketing / distribution. With a dedication to their goals and dreams, they’ve made it their life’s work to make quality hemp products available to all who need them.

My husband suffers from severe leg cramps. And not restless leg syndrome. I stoped to talk to Nikki at HOPE LIVES! I was tell her about my husbands horrible leg cramps. She asked me if he would use PROPER CANNA NATURALS? The one Ms. Nikki suggested was a cream the name is Rocky Mountain chill. It’s a muscle gel. I brought it home he looked at it two or three days tried it and almost instantly it took his cramps away. He spent two days with no leg cramps whatsoever using that cream. We ran out of the sample I have ordered the big bottle and I can’t wait for it to get here. It was hard to imagine that some thing all natural could do what it did for him and he feel better and get sleep. Not only him but me because he was not up and down all night . I recently switched from another big box brand of CBD oil to Proper Canna. Within a few weeks I knew I had made a really great decision. My back use to hurt every day of the week. I have about 1-2 days a month after heavy exercise now that I will get moderate pain. The customer service is stellar and the product ships to your home very quickly. I love the packaging and supporting a small business, all while feeling better inside and out. I do have to rave about the Rocky Mountain Chill Gel. It can kick a headache is 10 minutes! My husband and I both absolutely love it. I would highly recommend Proper Canna to anyone

I stopped by this last Friday to try one of their CBD tinctures. Justin was AMAZING! We talked about the different products, and I ended up getting a bundle with the Rocky Mountain Freeze lotion. WOW I am very impressed with the quality of both. Better then other brands I have tried! I recommend them to EVERYONE! Support Fort Collins local!

Tried a few of their products, and am really impressed at the quality! The dreamsicle tincture has really helped my sleep quality, which helps with my overall wellness. As an avid proponent of grass roots businesses that do it right. Not only have I tried most of the products Proper Canna produces but I have incorporated most of their products into my lifestyle, permanently. The muscle gel has come through for me when my body aches after an intense yoga session or a long bike ride and if I’m cramping.
